We are seeking a compassionate, responsible, and energetic caregiver to provide after-school and weekend care for our child with special needs. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing pediatric care, particularly for children with physical and developmental challenges. You will be responsible for engaging our child in a safe, supportive, and enriching environment, while also assisting with basic personal care, educational activities, and transportation to activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one care for a child with pediatric needs after school and on weekends.

• Assist with homework, educational activities, and physical exercises.

• Engage the child in outdoor or indoor recreational activities to promote social, emotional, and physical development.

• Provide assistance with personal care, including feeding, dressing, and hygiene.

• Ensure safety at all times, especially during outdoor activities or transportation.

• Assist with light household tasks related to the child’s care.

• Communicate with parents about the child's progress and needs.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in pediatric caregiving, child care, or related fields.

• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred, or willing to obtain).

• Experience with children who have special needs (a plus).

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

• Ability to work after school hours (typically 3 PM–7 PM) and weekends (flexible hours).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in supporting children with physical, developmental, or emotional challenges.

• Flexible availability on weekends and holidays.

• Some knowledge of pediatric health needs and safety protocols.
